Maintenance of Shade Sails
Take down and Put-ups
SPP advises annual take down of shade sails in the winter period (November- March) and put up in April to have ready for the summer.
Cleaning of Sails
While our shade sails are extremely durable, cleaning helps to protect the shade cloth and keep it looking great. Our in-house washing team carefully washes the shade sails with special shampoos, that don't affect the UV of the fabric, making them look brand new.
Maintenance of Sails
We all know that for anything to stay in good condition, it must be maintained. Shade sail maintenance ensures that your shade sail is always in the best shape, operates effectively, and lasts longer.

Storage during winter period
If in-house storage is available for ours clients shade sails, during the winter period.

Shade Sail Maintenance Information

To ensure that your investment in using our Shade Netting is kept to its optimum, we recommend that you enter a yearly service & maintenance contract with SHADEPORTS PLUS LTD., which will commence in the “off season” period i.e., October - March.

This service will include the removal, cleaning, full safety check and correct and safe reinstallation of your shade sail/s. With annual servicing, the life expectancy of the fabric will far extend beyond the UV degradation guarantee.
Additional Sails
Should you have more than one shade sail on the same premises, the charge for the second sail and per every other sail, thereafter, will be 50% of the value of the first sail.
Notice and Storage
Please allow us a 2 to 3-week notice period for the take down as well as reinstallation of the sail/s.
All shade sails are to be stored at your premises during the “off season” period. If in-house storage is available.
Payment Terms
This is a pre-paid service. As such, we will require payment in full to be made on the day of take down for the year ahead for each service.
